 由國際培幼會主辦,海洋公園協辦的大型公開籌款活動「培您童行」步行籌款自開始接受報名以來,得到廣大市民的支持,為了讓更多愛心人士能參與是次活動,大會宣佈把報名截止日期由原定的2012年2月10日延至2月20日,希望各界人士把握機會,以個人或團體名義參與這項富意義的活動,幫助更多於發展中國家有需要的孩子。活動繼得到兩位國際培幼會大使鄭伊健及蘇玉華的熱心支持後,亦邀請國際培幼會「愛.女孩」大使、著名運動員鄭麗莎小姐擔任起步禮的主禮嘉賓,以喚醒更多人對貧困孩子的關注。  「培您童行」步行籌款旨在長遠改善貧困兒童的生活質素,所籌到的善款將能:(1)為中國內地的小學及農村教學中心提供教學、體育及學校基建設施;(2)改善柬埔寨校園及家庭暴力問題;(3)並為非洲肯尼亞提供幼兒保育及教育等計劃。國際培幼會向以提升孩子福祉與權益為宗旨,步行籌款活動亦特意選址海洋公園,務求匯集更多充滿愛心的大小朋友支持是次活動,以愛溫暖這世界。  步行路線將由海洋公園全新正門──海洋廣場出發,途經園內多個景點,包括海洋奇觀、夢幻水都人工湖、大熊貓之旅、海洋列車、海洋摩天塔、瘋狂過山車,以及雀鳥劇場等,並以威威劇場為終點站。活動設有個人及團隊最高籌款額獎各三名,另設三名最優秀造型獎,歡迎團隊自行設計以「海洋」或「兒童」為主題的服飾,為當日活動加添歡樂元素。  國際培幼會「愛.女孩」大使、著名運動員鄭麗莎小姐說:「自從成為了國際培幼會『愛.女孩』大使後,我能清楚了解到協會的工作,亦覺得非常有意義。很榮幸能再次獲邀出席他們的活動,擔任『培您童行』步行籌款的主禮嘉賓,希望更多朋友能身體力行,支持他們的工作。」  國際培幼會行政總裁詹文利先生表示:「過去一個多月以來,對於首辦的步行籌款在報名階段得到各界人士的支持和回應,我們感到非常高興。我們亦相信,香港仍有更多愛心人士,秉持着行善不分國界的信念,願意向世界不同角落的孩子伸出援手。在此謹代表國際培幼會感謝大家的支持,亦期望更多朋友能把握最後機會報名參與是次活動,於3月4日為貧困的小朋友出一分力!」    關於Plan國際培幼會「培您童行」步行籌款 2012年將會是Plan國際培幼會成立的75周年紀念,為了集結社會力量支持協會於中國、柬埔寨及非洲肯尼亞的項目,國際培幼會特別於香港舉辦「培您童行」步行籌款。3歲至11歲兒童之最低籌款額為$350、12歲或以上青少年及成人之最低籌款額為$450;6至8人組別之最低籌款額為$3500,歡迎廣大市民踴躍參加。活動設有個人及組別最高籌款額獎各三名,另設三名最優秀造型獎,歡迎團隊自行設計以「海洋」或「兒童」為主題的服飾,於活動當日穿上競逐獎項。有興趣的愛心人士,歡迎登入國際培幼會網站www.plan.org.hk下載並填妥報名表格,連同提交最低籌款額及贊助金額之收據或支票,寄回活動籌辦單位:黃竹坑道65號志昌行中心25樓B室一口田有限公司收。查詢熱線:3583  3100;電郵:plan@seedland.hk。

   For  Immediate Release                                              9th  February, 2012.    Enrolment dealine for Plan International Walk for  Children at Ocean Park  extended  to 20th February in response to  demand
      
  
 Plan  International “Walk for Children”, co-organised with Ocean Park,  has received generous support from the public since the event was announced in  December 2012. Responding to demand, Plan  has announced that the application deadline of 10th February 2012  has been extended to 20th February 2012. Plan hopes this will  allow more people from all walks of life the opportunity of joining the event whether  individually or in groups, in support of disadvantaged children. Apart  from the support from Plan Ambassadors Ekin Cheng and Louisa So, Plan is glad  to announce that Ms Lisa Cheng, Plan “Because I am a Girl” Ambassador and  renowned athlete, will be the officiating guest of the event’s kick-off  ceremony.  The  Plan International Walk for Children aims  to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of life of deprived children by  raising funds to: (1) create child-friendly learning and living  environments for primary schools and village teaching centres in  China; funds  will be used to provide teaching, sports education, and building  infrastructure; (2) develop solutions for the problem of domestic violence at  school and at home in Cambodia; and (3) provide early childhood care and  development programmes for pre-school children in Kenya of Africa.  Hong Kong’s iconic  Ocean Park  has been chosen as the venue for the Walk, affording participants  a chance also to enjoy its attractions more fully following completion of the  event.  The  route begins at the new entry plaza of Ocean Park – the Ocean Square, passing  various attractions of the Park, such as Grand Aquarium, Aqua City Lagoon,  Giant Panda Adventure, Ocean Express, Ocean Park Tower, The Dragon and the  Amazing Bird Theatre, with Whiskers Theatre being the destination. There will  be awards for the overall top three teams and top three participants who raise  the most money in The Plan International Walk. There will also be Best Dressed  Awards for the top three outstanding teams. Participants are welcome to design  their outfits with “ocean” or “kids” related themes on the day of the event. On behalf of Plan, I hereby thank everyone concerned for their support  and hope that more people will follow suit, taking the extended application  date to join the fundraising Walk and make an effort on 4th March to  support children in less fortunate circumstances!”   About  Plan International Walk for Children To  commemorate the 75th anniversary of Plan International and to gain support for  projects in China, Cambodia and Kenya  in Africa, The Plan International Walk for Children will be held in Hong Kong.  The  minimum donation for participants will be HK$350 for age 3-11; HK$450 for age  12 or above; and HK$3,500 for 6-8 persons team. All people are welcome to  participate. These initiatives include 1) concessionary admission for Hong Kong residents on  their birthdays, Hong Kong residents aged 65 years and above, and holders of  Registration Card for People with Disabilities; and 2) sponsored admission to  individuals and members of families receiving assistance from the Comprehensive  Social Security Assistance Scheme (CSSA), and Social Welfare Department member  organisations. The Park also gives donation-in-kind to charitable organisations,  offers special rates for school tours, and spearheads many other community  caring projects. During the fiscal year of 2010-2011, Ocean Park  maintained a total of 13 social care programmes, with over 450,000  beneficiaries and an aggregate value to the community equivalent to HK$110  million.
