陳校長免費補習天地首辦「補天慈善跑2026」 麥嘜及麥兜擔任慈善大使
設10公里、3公里及1公里個人及團體賽事及開心跑
麥兜本尊於活動當天現身為參加者加油打氣   籌款為基層學童提供學習支援

以推動「教育平等」為宗旨的陳校長免費補習天地（下稱「補天」），自2011年成立至今，已召集逾23,000名義務導師，為基層學童免費提供一對一補習服務及學習支援，並於2013年起增設免費學前教育及才藝班。為慶祝成立15週年，補天將於2026年3月1日取址沙田運動場舉行「補天慈善跑2026」，歡迎全港市民共襄善舉，除了籌募善款支持補天的營運及服務之外，更可與基層學生站在同一起跑線上，與他們一起同行。「補天慈善跑2026」以「往前跑，向上飛」為主題，並十分榮幸邀請到陪伴香港人一起成長的麥嘜及麥兜擔任「補天慈善跑2026」慈善大使。參加者可獲麥嘜及麥兜限量版精美紀念品，為別具意義的活動錦上添花。活動當天，麥兜本尊更會現身為參加者加油打氣。

「補天慈善跑2026」設有計時的10公里（公開組）及3公里（青年組）個人及團體挑戰賽，適合專業跑手鞏固個人紀錄，並歡迎學校、公司、團體及機構組隊參加，促進團隊精神，優勝者更可獲獎盃、獎牌及禮品。活動同時設有非計時的3公里個人奔FUN跑，以及3公里及1公里的開心跑，歡迎家長與小朋友、情侶、親友一同參加，享受有益身心、互相陪伴的時光。

除了親身參與，「補天慈善跑2026」亦誠邀善心人士贊助基層學生及家庭、非華裔學生及其家庭參加賽事，讓全港有心人皆可以不同方式參與善舉，促進共融精神。

路線

「補天慈善跑2026」以沙田運動場作為起點。1公里路線環繞沙田運動場完成；3公里路線沿着城門河畔往香港體育學院方向進發，隨後折返至沙田運動場完成；10公里路線沿着城門河畔往香港體育學院方向進發，途經梅子林村、小瀝源等地點，最後折返至沙田運動場完成，讓參加者一邊欣賞城門河兩旁的優美景色，一邊享受跑步樂趣。

限量版紀念品及早鳥優惠

「補天慈善跑2026」的參加者可獲麥嘜及麥兜限量版精美紀念品。於2025年12月31日或之前報名，可享早鳥優惠，獲贈麥嘜及麥兜八達通證件套連掛繩及水樽。

關於陳校長免費補習天地
「陳校長免費補習天地」於2011年由陳葒校長創立，是香港政府認可的非牟利慈善機構（註冊編號：91/11019），為有經濟困難的弱勢學童免費提供一對一補習服務及學習支援。創辦人陳葒校長原為直資中學校長，卻有感現時的教育制度未能為弱勢兒童及青少年提供公平接受教育的機會，遂於2009年辭去校長一職並創辦「陳校長免費補習天地」，招募義師，免費為弱勢學童提供一對一補習服務及學習支援。成立至今，已成功招募逾23,000名義師，獲成功配對的學生超過22,000名。2013年，陳校長為基層兒童增設免費學前教育及才藝訓練班，以進一步實現「教育平等」的理念，至今共有超過6,000名基層青少年及幼童參加。陳校長堅持「有教無類」的教育理念，致力改善當前的教育風氣，獲得廣大市民認同，2017年獲香港教育大學頒授榮譽院士銜，以表彰他多年的貢獻。

Manifesting the vision to promote equality in education, Principal Chan Free Tutorial World has recruited over 23,000 volunteer teachers to provide free one-to-one tutorials and learning support to underprivileged students since its establishment in 2011. In 2013, its services have extended to include pre-school courses and talent development classes for children in need. To celebrate its 15th anniversary and raise funds for its charitable cause, Principal Chan Free Tutorial World will host a charity run, themed “Yes We Can Fly”, on 1st March 2026 at Sha Tin Sports Ground, calling upon the public to support the vision of striving for equal educational opportunities for disadvantaged students by joining the friendly-for-all sports event. The organiser is pleased to announce the appointment of beloved cartoon icons McMug and McDull as event ambassadors. In addition to having the mascot of McDull to cheer on the runners on the event day, participants will receive exclusive and limited-edition McMug and McDull souvenirs specially made for the Charity Run.

Principal Chan Free Tutorial World Charity Run 2026 features individual and team timed races of 10km (Open Category) and 3km (Youth Category), ideal for runners aiming to enhance their personal records, as well as schools, corporations, organisations and groups seeking to foster team spirit. Trophies, medals and gifts will be awarded to winning individuals and teams. Non-timed runs include a 3km Fun Run for individuals, as well as 3km and 1km Happy Runs, offering parents, children, lovers, families and friends the opportunities to enjoy quality time together.

Charity Run 2026 also calls for public support to sponsor underprivileged students and families, and non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students and their families, enabling them to take part in the run and promoting social inclusion.

Routes

Starting at Sha Tin Sports Ground, the 1km route loops around the sports ground; the 3km route follows the Shing Mun River towards the Hong Kong Sports Institute before returning; and the 10km route passes through Mui Tsz Lam Village and Siu Lek Yuen before heading back to the sports ground, inviting participants to enjoy the riverside scenery as they immerse themselves in the joy of running.

Exclusive Souvenirs and Early Bird Offers

Runners will receive exclusive and limited-edition McMug and McDull souvenirs specially made for Principal Chan Free Tutorial World Charity Run 2026. Participants registering on or before 31st December 2025 will receive a set of early bird gifts consisting of a McMug and McDull Octopus card holder with lanyard and a water bottle.

About Principal Chan Free Tutorial World
Principal Chan Free Tutorial World is a non-profit organisation in Hong Kong, founded in April 2011 by Principal Chan Hung. Focusing on providing free educational support to underprivileged children whose families are and facing financial difficulties, it is officially recognised by the HKSAR Government (registered charity number 91/11019). Principal Chan, previously the principal of a Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) secondary school, left the prominent and well-paid position in 2009 to begin this initiative, aiming to strive for equal educational opportunities for all children, particularly those abandoned by the system, by offering free one-to-one tutorial services and other educational support to underprivileged children. To date, Principal Chan Free Tutorial World has recruited over 23,000 volunteer teachers, serving more than 22,000 students. In 2013, the organisation expanded its services to include free pre-school courses and talent development classes for underprivileged children, further advancing his vision of educational equality. These programmes have benefitted over 6,000 youth and young children. Upholding his belief that “all children should enjoy a fair chance in education”, Principal Chan has been committed to improving the educational landscape in Hong Kong. His efforts have earned public recognition. In 2017, he was named an Honorary Fellow of The Education University of Hong Kong in recognition of his steadfast contributions.
