To raise funds for Caritas-Hong Kong’s social services and promote public awareness of its mission, values, and impactful work underpinned by the spirit of “Love in the Service of Hope”, the inaugural “Run with Love – Friends of Caritas Charity Run 2026” was successfully held on 1 February 2026 at Hong Kong Science Park. Organised by Friends of Caritas and co-organised by Chong Gene Hang College Athletic Club, the event received overwhelming support, attracting more than 2,200 participants. Building on this success, “Run with Love – Friends of Caritas Charity Run 2027” will return to Hong Kong Science Park on 31 January 2027, with Cardinal Stephen Chow, S.J., Bishop of Hong Kong, as the officiating guest. Themed “Run for Love, Run for Hope”, the charity run cordially invites members of the public to take part in this meaningful sports event. Funds raised will support Caritas-Hong Kong’s social, education, and medical services, while spreading love and hope through sports.

Featuring individual and team races of 10km, 5km, 3km, and 1km, the charity run welcomes runners of all abilities. The 10km and 5km races will be submitted for recognition as sanctioned events by the Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliates, offering seasoned athletes a rewarding challenge. Non‑timed runs are also available for those seeking a more relaxed and enjoyable experience. The team categories offer running clubs, schools, and corporations an excellent opportunity to enhance team spirit, while parents, children, families, and friends are welcome to enjoy the pleasure of running side by side. Registration is now open until 31 December 2026.

Routes
Starting from Hong Kong Science Park, runners will follow the scenic Pak Shek Kok Promenade, taking in panoramic views of Tolo Harbour as they complete the course and enjoy the exhilaration of running.

Exclusive Souvenirs
All participants will receive exclusive souvenirs and gifts from the event sponsors. Trophies will be awarded to the outstanding individuals and teams in the 10km and 5km races.

Since its establishment in 1953, Caritas-Hong Kong has been dedicated to serving people from all walks of life under the guiding principle of ‘Love in the Service of Hope’.
