明愛之友舉辦「Run with Love——明愛之友慈善跑2026」
籌款支持香港明愛社會服務   推廣香港明愛「以愛服務，締造希望」的理念

創立於1996年的慈善機構明愛之友，由一眾支持香港明愛的熱心志願人士組成，透過舉辦籌款活動，推廣香港明愛「以愛服務，締造希望」的理念。為籌募善款支持香港明愛的社會服務，並提升公眾對其使命、價值觀及社福工作的認識，由明愛之友主辦、張振興伉儷書院田徑會協辦的「Run with Love——明愛之友慈善跑2026」將於2026年2月1日取址香港科學園舉行，並邀得天主教香港教區主教周守仁樞機擔任開跑儀式的主禮嘉賓，歡迎全港市民共襄盛舉，既可享受運動樂趣，亦可為支持香港明愛的社會服務出一分力。

活動提供10公里、5公里、3公里及1公里的個人及團體賽事選項，其中10公里及5公里賽事將申請成為中國香港田徑總會認可賽事，無論是計劃鞏固個人紀錄的專業跑手，或是希望體驗跑步樂趣的人士皆適合參與。團體賽事歡迎跑會、學校或企業等機構組隊參加，培養團隊精神，同時亦歡迎親子、家庭或好友組隊參與，共享美好時光。活動由即日起至2026年1月11日期間接受報名。

路線
賽事路線以香港科學園作為起點，參加者將沿着白石角海濱長廊來回跑步完成賽事，沿途飽覽吐露港的怡人風景，享受清風送爽的運動體驗。

專屬紀念品
所有參加者可獲得一系列專為活動而設的精美紀念品及豐富的贊助商禮品，而10公里及5公里賽事中優勝的個人及隊伍將獲得獎盃。

天主教香港教區主教周守仁樞機表示：「作為天主教香港教區的社會服務機構，明愛自1953年創立以來，一直本着基督的愛，致力服務社會上有需要的人士，特別關注社會上最微末無靠、最卑微無助和最失落無救的一群。十分感謝明愛之友籌辦這個饒富意義的活動，通過有益身心的跑步運動關愛團結社會，為社區注入正能量，並讓大家進一步認識香港明愛『以愛服務，締造希望』的理念。在此誠邀全港跑步好手、年青人、家長與小朋友，以及學校、企業和機構與我們並肩同行積極參與，享受運動樂趣及支持香港明愛的各類服務。」

Run with Love – Friends of Caritas Charity Run 2026 invites members of the public, schools and organisations to participate in 10km, 3km and 1km races in support of Caritas–Hong Kong, to raise funds for its charitable work and to promote the spirit of “Love in the Service of Hope”

Founded in 1996 by a group of dedicated volunteers, Friends of Caritas is a charitable organisation committed to supporting Caritas–Hong Kong (Caritas) and advancing its mission embodying the spirit of “Love in the Service of Hope”. To raise funds for Caritas’ social services and to deepen public awareness of its mission, values, and impactful work, Run with Love – Friends of Caritas Charity Run 2026 will be held on 1 February 2026 at Hong Kong Science Park. Organised by Friends of Caritas and co-organised by Chong Gene Hang College Athletic Club, the event will be graced by the presence of His Eminence Cardinal Stephen Chow, S.J., Bishop of Hong Kong, as the officiating guest. The charity run calls upon the public to take part in this meaningful sports event that furthers and celebrates Caritas’ compassionate service to the community.

Featuring individual and team races of 10km, 5km, 3km and 1km – with the 10km and 5km races being applied as sanctioned races by the Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliates – the charity run offers both seasoned athletes and causal runners a meaningful challenge and a joyful experience. Team categories provide an excellent opportunity for running clubs, schools, and corporations to foster team spirit, while parents, children, families, and friends can come together to share the pleasure of running side by side. Registration is now open until 11 January 2026.

Routes
Starting at Hong Kong Science Park, runners will follow the scenic Pak Shek Kok Promenade to complete the course, enjoying panoramic vistas of Tolo Harbour and the gentle, refreshing sea breeze along the way.

Exclusive souvenirs
All participants will receive specially designed event souvenirs along with gifts from sponsors. Trophies will be presented to outstanding individuals and team winners of 10km and 5km races in recognition of their achievements.

His Eminence Cardinal Stephen Chow, S.J., Bishop of Hong Kong, remarks, “As the social service agency of the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong, Caritas has been dedicated to caring for the weak, the poor and the marginalised in society with the abundance of Christ’s love since its establishment in 1953. I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to Friends of Caritas for organising this meaningful event, which not only promotes the health and joy of running, but also strengthens unity and inspires positivity in our community.
