(香港20131124)  今年冬天,「熊孩兒」與「熊 Buddies」夥同香港紅十字會雙雙對對,攜手合作分享愛與關懷。

 

毛茸茸的「熊孩兒」家居鞋及一套四枝的「熊 Buddies」筆套裝,是香港紅十字會今年「愛心相連大行動」義賣籌款活動的義賣品。雙雙對對的義賣品象徵著本會與所有捐款者攜手合作,致力讓更多有需要人士得適切的人道服務。第十一屆「愛心相連大行動」,於今日正式啟動,為期三個月。

 

2003年首辦,「愛心相連大行動」希望透過活動向公眾傳揚「分享與關懷」的精神,現已成為本會每年的主力籌款項目之一。活動強調團結力量的重要性,帶出只要攜手將「愛心」「相連」,便能凝聚「愛心力量」幫助更多有需要人士,為他們送上暖暖的關心和祝福。

 

啟動儀式上,香港紅十字會總監劉楚釗醫生表示:「『愛心相連大行動』多年來,都以『愛分享.分享愛』為主題,凝聚大眾的愛心力量。今次,兩件熊仔義賣品均為雙雙對對,缺一不可,正如本會與各位捐款者的關係一樣,我們的工作不能沒有大家的支持。除了籌款外,我們亦期望透過活動傳揚『分享與關懷』的訊息,達致『愛心相連』

 

著名演藝歌手方力申先生今年再度擔任「愛心相連大行動」活動榮譽大使。在啟動儀式上,他與一眾主禮嘉賓將不同造型的熊仔放入充滿冬日氣氛的幸福摩天輪代表各界對「愛心相連大行動」的參與及支持。典後,他馬上落力向圍觀市民推銷義賣品。我已多次擔任活動的榮譽大使,感到十分榮幸。

(Hong Kong, 24 November 2013) The Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC) hopes to share love and care through the “Bear” charity sales icons for this year’s “Pass-it-On” Annual Fundraising Campaign.

 

The three-month Campaign, entering its 11th year, was officially launched today. This year’s two icons Red CrossÌBear Duet slippers and Red CrossÌBear Buddies pen set come “in pairs”, symbolizing HKRC and donors working hand in hand as partners to render humanitarian services to those in need.

 

Aiming to raise funds in support of the humanitarian work of the HKRC and to promote the “Share and Care” spirit amongst people, the HKRC has been organizing the “Pass-it-On” Campaign since 2003. The charity sale campaign has become one of HKRC’s key annual fundraising events. It encourages people to care not only for their families and friends, but also for those close and afar who are less fortunate and in need. It emphasizes the power of joining hands, that when we all put ourselves together, an enormous loving power can be accumulated to help those who are in need. It is a fundraising campaign that relies on this “pass-it-on effect” amongst people to spread the “share and care” spirit.

 

Addressing the kick-off ceremony, HKRC Director Dr Lau Chor-chiu said the Pass-it-On Campaign, under the theme of “Love to Share, Share to Love” for some years, aimed not only to gather donations, but also to disseminate the spirit of “share and care”. “The two bear icons this year are ‘in pairs’ and undividable, resembling integral relationship of HKRC with our donors. We could not have been conducting so many humanitarian works for the needy without the support of our donors,” he said.

 

Renown singer-artiste Mr Alex Fong becomes the Chief Ambassador of this year’s Campaign. At the kick-off ceremony, various officiating guests, including Alex, placed their own bear buddy figures into a winter wonderland ferris wheel, representing their participation and support toward “Pass-it-On”. Immediately after the ceremony, Alex voluntarily worked at the outreach sales counter and enthusiastically persuaded people passing-by to purchase the charity icons. “I have been invited to be the Chief Ambassador of the Campaign for a number of years. I feel so honored,” he said.
