To commend and recognize the effort of volunteers throughout the Campaign, the Pass-it-On 2009 Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 2 March at 5:00p.m. at Leighton Hill Community Hall, Happy Valley. Hong Kong Red Cross was honoured to invite Mr. Alex Fong, Chief Ambassador of the Campaign together with Mr. Philip Tsai, Council Member cum Chairman of Blood Transfusion Service Governing Committee of Hong Kong Red Cross, Ms. Sanny Liu, Executive Director, QP Group (the Diamond Sponsor of Pass-it-On 2009) and Mr. Ben Yang, Director, Asia Operations of CSL Biotherapies Asia Pacific Limited (the Gold Sponsor of Pass-it-On 2009) to be the guests of the Award Presentation Ceremony.

With the theme “Carry On: Love to Share, Share to Love”, the Charity Sales of Red Cross BearÌBook had been held in various districts over the past few months with active participation of enthusiastic organizations and schools as well as an exceptional guessing game of “How many Red Cross BearÌBooks were sold?” to get every audience involved.

Just by small donation, we can bring warmth and hope to those people in need. I salute to all volunteers over their devotion and participation and I wish all of you will continue to support the humanitarian work and development of Hong Kong Red Cross and extending our love and care to the needy.”
