Photos: http://www.seedland.hk/press/plan/2014/1/ The annual event “Walk for Children” 2014, organised by Plan International Hong Kong, will be held in April and the fund raised will be used to support Plan’s education project in Ningxia, China. Featuring the theme “Pass on the Love”, renowned artistes Alex Fong, Stephy Tang, Cindy Au, as well as founder and principal of JEMS Learning House Christine Ma-Lau brought along their family members and love ones to participate in a photo-shoot for the new campaign in support of “Walk for Children” 2014. The photo-shoot started right after the arrival of the Plan Ambassadors and their love ones, including renowned artiste Miss Stephy Tang and her mother, renowned artiste Cindy Au and her family, together with Plan Because I am a Girl Ambassador, founder and principal of JEMS Learning House Ms Christine Ma-Lau and her husband. In the meantime, Plan Ambassador Mr Alex Fong also joined the photo-shoot with a few cheerful children. All the Ambassadors showed their professionalism and the photo-shoot ended smoothly in a relaxing and joyful atmosphere. Begun in 2012, the Plan International Hong Kong “Walk for Children” is now an annual event on the organisation’s calendar. In order to give the participants a glimpse on the difficulties and challenges that most underprivileged children in the developing countries have to face daily, experiential zones will be set on the walkathon route this year. Mr. James Murray, Chief Executive Officer of Plan International Hong Kong, said, “‘Walk for Children’ gave a lot of great memories to our participants in the past two years. The support and generosity of the public have helped us to continue our effort towards our projects in different countries, helping more and more children in need. Stepping into the third year, we are again receiving a lot of support from our Ambassadors. We are truly thankful for their help! The experiential zones that we specially designed this year would be a perfect chance for parents to educate their children about the circumstances that many underprivileged children are facing. We look forward to seeing all of Plan’s old friends and meeting new ones in ‘Walk for Children’ 2014!” For media enquiries, please contact: For enquiries about Plan Hong Kong, please contact Ms. Wendy Tsui, Director, Marketing & Communications (3405 5316) About Plan “Walk for Children” About Plan International Plan works in 50 developing nations across Africa, Asia and the Americas, and it operates fundraising offices in 21 countries.
