戶外有機種植牆 親身認識大自然
學校設有戶外遊樂場，除了給予小朋友活動空間之外，更加特別設置有機水耕種植牆，學生可以親身嘗試種植有機蔬菜、每月收採農作物帶回家，並且設有太陽能發電板，讓學生有機會接觸並認識大自然及太陽能。此外，部分課室與戶外遊樂場相連，只需打開玻璃幕門便可踏進遊樂場，同時有助天然採光及室內通風。魚菜共生裝置 學習生態平衡
位於走廊的「魚菜共生」裝置結合魚缸與水耕盆栽，形成自給自足的生態循環系統，讓學生明白所有生命都是活在同一個地球上，每一個行動都會影響彼此，例如環境污染，從而帶出品格教育的訊息，包括「善良」、「溫柔」及「節制」三種「聖靈果子」的特質。互動遊戲區 探索好奇心
校內活動設備豐富，從角色扮演區、圖書館及有關音樂、藝術與科學的玩具，到室內小型繩網和攀石牆均一應俱全，就連室內設計方面也添置了趣味元素，例如課室外的牆上亦安裝了益智玩具，能為幼兒提供視覺、聽覺刺激及小肌肉訓練，激發孩子探索事物的好奇心。挪亞方舟壁畫 趣味設計構思
洗手間外有一幅關於聖經故事「挪亞方舟」的壁畫，生動描繪不同動物，部分動物頭部特意改裝成鏡子，幼兒照鏡時便會看見自己成為壁畫的其中一員，趣味十足。圖書消毒機 安心享受閱讀
學校目前藏書量超過一千本，並且設置從韓國進口的圖書消毒機，採用紫外線消毒及運風系統，有效清除書頁之間殘留的書蟲、細菌、病毒和塵垢，保障學生健康。選料嚴謹 營造環保安全校園
幼兒天生好奇心強，奧恩亦主張讓幼兒自由探索，因此特別注重校園環境必須安全無害，例如選購以蔬菜為原料的顏料及蠟筆，就算幼兒放進口中也不怕，更是全港首家使用防菌油漆的幼稚園，並且配備醫院等級的空氣清新機，以及每月定期全校消毒。另外，奧恩亦奉行環保採購方針，為學生提供有機茶點及可自然分解餐具，而且地板及瓷磚均有採用再造或可再造物料。鄧沅叞校長表示︰「我們十分重視學校設計的每一項細節，務求令學生可以安心、自由地在學校四處發掘新奇有趣的事物。如接待處的櫃台，我們也特意加入了輕觸式燈光設計，小朋友只要觸碰『O』字便能亮起來；又例如轉動牆上的舵盤，旁邊的小隧道內的燈光也會隨之變色。這些趣味設計不僅是為了好玩，更能令幼兒明白自己的行動可以引發意想不到的效果，從而提供刺激感官的學習體驗，這對於幼兒教育尤其關鍵。」

關於奧恩國際幼兒園暨幼稚園

The school is specially designed with fun and eco-friendly facilities, including some exclusive features that manifest the team’s commitment to its vision in education, to create a physically safe, emotionally secure, and psychologically stimulating learning environment of exquisite quality.
Outdoor organic planting wall for learning about nature
The outdoor playground not only provides children with a platform for activities, but also features an organic hydroponic planting wall so that children can grow their own vegetables and take any harvests home every month. The wall is equipped with solar panels, enabling students to learn about nature and solar energy. In addition, some classrooms are right next to the outdoor playground, so students can step outside just by opening the glass patio doors, which allow natural light to come in and facilitate ventilation as well.Aquaponics system displaying ecological harmony
An aquaponics system in the corridor, which combines aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (growing plants in water), displays a self-sustainable ecosystem. This system helps children understand that every living creature on Earth is interrelated and every action we do today (e.g. pollution) will affect others. It also coincides with three “fruit of the spirit” – namely, goodness, gentleness, and self-control – o deliver the message of character building.Interactive play zones for exploring curiosity
Equipped with an array of facilities for learning activities, the school hosts various interactive play zones, ranging from the role-playing area, library, and preschool toys related to music, art, and science, to a mini indoor climbing net and wall. Every part of the school is designed to be both fun and educational by incorporating interior design. For instance, the walls outside the classrooms are lined with educational toys that children can play with while waiting for the next class, in order to inspire their curiosity. Outside the bathroom is a mural depicting the classic biblical story about Noah’s ark, but some animals’ faces have been replaced by mirrors. Children can see themselves as part of the mural by looking into the mirrors. The fun experience can inspire children’s imagination and curiosity too.Sterilized books for a worry-free reading experience
With currently more than 1,000 books, Mighty Oaks is equipped with a book sterilizer imported from Korea, which makes use of UV and an air circulation system to remove bookworms, bacteria, dust, and viruses, thereby ensuring children’s health.Quality choice of materials for a green and safe environment
Mighty Oaks strongly encourages children’s free exploration, and young children have a natural liking to touch everything around them. Therefore, the founders have set up a school environment absolutely free of harm. For example, at Mighty Oaks the paint and crayons students use are made of vegetables, making them harmless even if children put them into their mouths. The school is also the first kindergarten in Hong Kong to use the newest anti-viral paint for its interior furnishings. In addition, it has set up a hospital-grade air purifier and schedules monthly fogging to wipe out any bacteria and viruses. Another aim of Mighty Oaks is to establish a green school by selecting eco-friendly products, including organic snacks and biodegradable cutlery, as well as vinyl flooring and mosaic wall tiles that are recyclable or made from recycled materials.Principal Ms Livia Tang states, “We believe that every detail of the school design is very important, as we would like our students to freely explore all the unexpected and fun elements in a safe learning environment. Even for the reception desk, we especially added some lights to every letter ‘O’, which light up when children touch them; another example is the turning wheel that changes the colour of the light inside the little tunnel. These designs are not just meant to be fun, but also make children realize their actions can lead to surprising results. This creates a learning experience with sensory stimulations, which is significant to early education.”

Founded in 2016, Mighty Oaks International Nursery & Kindergarten aims to help students build a wholesome character through play and discovery so they can grow into future leaders as strong and dependable as oak trees.
